a. The 1964-65 season will mark the beginning of what has become known as the “Bi-County Tournament.”
The original teams that participated were Attica, Covington, Fountain Central, & Seeger Memorial (original).
b. Host sites for the Bi-County Tournament rotate on an annual basis amongst the participating schools.
c. The 2021 tournament was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hoosier Conference
The Hoosier Conference was formed in 1947 by school officials from
Attica, Delphi, Flora, Rossville, Rensselaer-Central, West Lafayette, &
Winamac high schools.
Hoosier Conference Timeline
1947: Hoosier Conference is formed.
Membership: Attica, Delphi, Flora, Rossville, Rensselaer-Central, West Lafayette, Winamac
1948: Sheridan joins the Hoosier Conference.
1949: Rensselaer-Central withdrawals from the Hoosier Conference.
1954: Delphi withdrawals from the Hoosier Conference.
1956: Delphi re-joins the Hoosier Conference.
1958: Southwestern & Western join the Hoosier Conference.
1961: Clinton Prairie & Carroll (Flora consolidates into) join the Hoosier Conference.
1965: Sheridan & Western withdrawal from the Hoosier Conference.
1966: Southwestern withdrawals from the Hoosier Conference.
1968: Benton Central joins the Hoosier Conference.
1970: Harrison is formed (Battle Ground, East Tipp, & Klondike) & joins the Hoosier Conference. Lafayette Central
Catholic joins the Hoosier Conference.
1971: Attica withdrawal from the Hoosier Conference.
