A simple web search yields endless opportunities to “buy” rare and allocated products. But most states limit or prohibit
the ability of individuals to re-sell alcoholic products. While this might surprise some consumers, it also protects them
from issues ranging from fraud to tainted product. States have taken varied approaches to this dynamic—ranging from
permitting limited types of auctions to taking action against unlicensed shippers and resellers. In this session, regulators
and industry members will discuss approaches they have found effective in protecting the markets and brands consumers
seek out the most.
ID’s Go Mobile Bob & Dolores Hope - Mezzanine Level
Moderator: Thomas J. Lockwood - Secure Technology Alliance
Speakers: Melinda Stephens - American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators
Courtney Rice - GET Group
Tim Cornia, MBA - Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services
State DMV issued mobile driver's license (mDL) and mobile IDs (mID) are the future of licensing and proof of identity.
An mDL is a driver's license that is provisioned to a mobile device with the capability to be updated in real time. An mDL
includes the same data elements used to produce a physical driver's license. However, for an mDL - the data is
transmitted electronically to a relying party's reader device and authenticated. Attendees will gain insights on how mDLs
and mIDs are a significant improvement over physical credentials. How they offer safe, secure, and trust technologies
that allow for completely touchless transactions, selective information release, data protection, and so much more. The
session will include mDL demonstration activities, overview of initial pilot activities, and status of mDl usage in retail and
enforcement communities.

It has been over a decade since we last discussed the listing and delisting procedures of the control jurisdictions, yet these
procedures remain as one of the most important issues for industry. What has happened with these procedures over the
last ten years? Are the procedures as fair, balanced, open, and transparent as possible when determining product
offerings? Speakers will discuss how listing/delisting procedures have changed and will review the principals or tenets
