Control systems’ unique role in their state economies, as both purveyor and regulator, requires them to work
collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and communicate their responses to market changes effectively. From the
global pandemic, demographic shifts, and technology advancements to product innovation and rising public health and
safety concerns, control systems are a valuable partner in addressing and managing these market factors that are shaping
the marketplace. This session will highlight examples of how control systems have communicated the value of their
unique role and responsibility to the public in their response to some of these market factors.
