When it comes to assets, it is important to reveal the main category of capital created
in the country and actively participating in the production process. The concept of basic
capital entered our consumption and statistical observations during the transition to a market
economy. Previously, this category was managed as "main fund", "main instrument".
In the educational literature, a number of categories, such as the volume of products
created during the calculation and use of the main means, its efficiency, are revealed
theoretically and methodically. These include "fund return", "fund arming", "fund capacity"
and others.

But in our research, it is not a matter of touching on each of them and revealing its
essence, but it is a matter of assessing the socio-economic potential and investment
environment of the regions that are accounted for in the statistical reports of the National
Accounts System, as well as the main components that are necessary and necessary in
determining the national wealth. it is important to scientifically study capital (main fund).
Therefore, in the following places, we will use the concept of "main capital" instead of "main
fund" or "main instrument".
Fixed capital is a part of the national wealth, a tool created by people, used as
commoditized labor in the process of production of goods and services, which gradually
transfers its value to the value of the product over the years. The size of the main capital (main
fund) is collected on the basis of the data provided by the regional statistical offices and is
taken into account in the general - aggregated view of the economy. That is why its accounting
is carried out in the form of a single methodology.
Geographical, economic and socio-demographic conditions of the region are taken into
account when studying the fixed capital territorially and keeping its account. Depending on
the location of the regions and the different natural conditions, the efficiency of using the
fixed capital will also be different. That's why 1 sq. km. the level of provision of funds per
1000 people in the territory is considered, but this indicator may not be of any importance for
the economy of the whole republic.
