Appetizer

Appetizer, in Indonesian terms, is 'appetizer'. While the French term calls it
Hors d'oeuvre (starter). Appetizer is an appetizer before the main course served
with the aim of arousing appetite or appetite. Other sources provide the
following understanding: Appetizer is a conduit for enjoying the main course,
as an appetizer to arouse appetite because it is a small portion with a sour,
           salty or spicy taste.

Appetizers should have a good taste (tastefull), light, refreshing (usually taste
a bit sour to stimulate appetite), be small (biet size, finger food), and be served
in an attractive appearance. Appetizers can be served hot (canapes, fritters,
soups) or cold (salads, Chilled Fruit Cocktail, Shrimp Cocktail), and are

           sometimes spicy.
Appetizers should be served in an excellent manner, including taste, aroma,
appearance, and suitability with serving utensils so that they can excite the
appetite and give the impression that the dishes that will be served afterwards
           will be even more delicious.
