                                           The existing Mines campus primary electrical Loop 1A/1B
                                                                                   in the 2010 medium voltage master plan. The beginnings
                                                                                                                      
                                                                                new south campus primary loop as originally envisioned
                                                                    switch can be closed to back feed either part of the loop
                                                of the Wright Wellness Center. The primary loop cables,
                                              starts at the new Vista 624 switchgear on the north side
                                                      (Side 1A) to an S&C Vista switchgear at Stratton Vault,
                                                                              south side of the campus, creating an opportunity for a
                                                   then takes a path through the northern part of campus
                                                                           Most of the future master planned buildings are on the
                                                            Wright Wellness Center through the center of campus
                                                              (Side 1B). A normally open way switch at the Stratton
                                                                                      of this loop were indicated in the original Master Plan
                                                         and then travels back to metal clad switchgear at the
                                                                 Vault switchgear isolates Side 1A from Side 1B. This

                                                                       should any of the primary loop cables fail.

                                                                                           (Loop 2). The first legs of this new loop include the radial  feeders that serve the Student Recreation Center and  Maple Hall with Loop 2B, and Wright Wellness Center,  Weaver Towers, Elm Hall, Residence Hall VI, and Starzer  The following graphs summarize the projected load  growth on each of the campus loops and the Xcel Energy   Colorado School of Mines Facilities Master Plan
