The Quick Bit Gag
In truth, the Quick Bit Gag is merely a clever application of
a multiple overhand knot. Also known as a “blood knot”

multiple overhand knot makes for a quick, secure knot for a
muffling gag! (It’s not a bad sight gag, either.)
