Extension and agribusiness

processors. To help rebuild
agricultural livelihoods. NEF will

adapt existing training modules to

build the technical and agri-
business capacities of producers

and processors. Extension services
will be organized for small-scale

producers and processors

according to types of production
(e.g., cereal crops, fruits, fisheries,

livestock) and provided in a 5-day
training designed to improve

recovery in conflict-affected

communities. Training will be
responsive to disruptions in

agricultural production caused by
the conflict (e.g., poor availability of

agricultural inputs, storage) and

cover topics such as integrated
pest management, water-
conserving irrigation, cost-saving
measures (e.g. group purchasing of

inputs, aggregated transportation),

and improved post-harvest
handling and processing to reduce

losses and add value.
