Provide technical training to 90 young
         people. Building on its successful

         work in Basrah and Ninewa, IAA will

         support vocational training,
          sustainable livelihoods and positive

          development among young people
         (ages 18 – 25).










                                                                   The integrated program will address

                                                                   critical issues faced by youth
                                                                   IDPs/returnees and offer three

                                                                   months of technical training,
                                                                   leadership and conflict resolution

                                                                   training, and entrepreneurship and

                                                                   work readiness training. Technical
                                                                   training will focus on construction

                                                                   (e.g. electric, welding, carpentry) and
                                                                   ICT sectors (e.g., computer skills,

                                                                   graphic design), and may also

                                                                   support development of other
                                                                   market-driven skills (e.g. English

                                                                   language).


        Building on an existing relationship with

        MOLSA, IAA will locate technical training

        at MOLSA-operated vocational training
        VTCs in Ba’quba and Tikrit, taking

        advantage of the fit-for-purpose facility

        while helping to strengthen linkages

        between the community and the VTCs.
