NAVITAS 2021: The Annual Festival
A Milestone created by APTI Mumbai region by digitizing curriculum through DNYANGANGA.
APTI Mumbai Region an active body of APTI central takes immense
pleasure to celebrate one successful year celebration of Dnyanganga.

We the team of APTI MU region gives us pleasure and pride in presenting facts
and figures for a year journey of Dnyanganga. Under the visionary guidance of
Dr. Rakesh Somani, Joint Secretary, APTI, Maharashtra State branch the team
led by Dr. Sandip zine conceptualized to bring digitized content at a single click
to the pharma students scattered globally. It was well thought and executed in
thought time of COVID – 19 pandemic time where students from remote region,
state unable to get quality material at their fingertips. We the team of
Dnyanganga focused towards the creation, recapitulation and summarization of
all digitized data created by Mumbai Region pharmacy college staffs and serve
all the students with structured contents. These data footprints should be available to upcoming batches of the students. With gracious
hands of Dr. P. D. Choudhari (President APTI Central) and Dr. Milind Umekar (Vice President, APTI) team released 1st edition
“DnyanGanga” (E-Repository of Academic Study Material) on 26 September 2020. Where Dr. Choudhari appreciated the team and conveyed
that this first of its kind platform, which will be very beneficial to the community at large. Dr. Milind Umekar during his address conveyed that
E-Repository construction was a commendable work done by the MU region team for the students from Diploma Pharmacy to M.Pharmacy
including GPAT Study material.
Till date team released 11 editions and created footprints of various syllabi at large by keeping in mind famous quote by Frank Cottrel Boyce.
“We walked on the moon. We made footprints somewhere no one else had ever made footprints, and unless someone comes and rubs them
out, those footprints will be there forever because there’s no wind.” ……………..Frank Cottrell Boyce.
Summary of all 11 editions, team organized total 3073 digitized e-lectures,
voice-over PPTs in structured format via a well-recognized and well-established
e-Platform DNYANGANGA. Team also felicitated faculties and institutes for
their commendable work by felicitating them for achieving milestones of 100 and
above digital contents conferred with Diamond Contributor certificate, 50 and
above digital contents conferred with Golden contributor certificate and those
who contributed 25 and above digital contents conferred with silver contributor
certificate. Faculties contributed 10 and above up to 24 are felicitated with
contributor certificates
Also institute with outstanding contribution also bestowed with Appreciation Certificate from APTI Mumbai region and to name the institute
with mater of pride Indira Institute of Pharmacy, Sadavali, Ratnagiri emerged as a top contributor. Superiors applauded for the contribution of
institute from remote area for providing 100% digitized contents to their students. Team Dnyanganga felicitated total 10 faculties from
different institutes with Diamond contributor certificates, 03 faculties with gold contributor certificate and 07 with silver and 04 contributor
certificates in different editions respectively. Total edition wise contribution is listed in the chart mentioned below. APTI central body is
flabbergasted for every leap and giant success of APTI Mumbai region two flagship programs ‘PHARMADARPAN’ and ‘DNYANGANGA’
throughout the Indian pharma fraternity. Team cherished all editions with same enthusiasm and worked hard to bring out next editions with
more flying colors. In content recapitulation and organization of Dnyanganga data an able faculty Dr. Amol B Khade shouldered the
responsibility. Mr. Pratip Chaskar sir executed publication matters of all editions; Mr. Sujit Nagare, Dr. Bhushan Rane, Mr. Yogesh
Chaudhari, Mr. Nitin Kolhe and Mr. Vinod Mule channelized entire contents of latest edition systematically and make them available to all
pharma students through various digital platforms. Activity mentor Dr. Rakesh Somani and Dr. Sandip Zine applauded for the entire team for
their seamless efforts thought the continuing journey of Dnyanganga.
