                                           Psycho-social Skills Workshop At HKCP

                                                                H. K. College of Pharmacy organized workshop entitled
                                                                “Guidance on Psycho-social skills to helpers during pandemic
                                                                                                th
                                                                concerned faculties & students” on 12 June, 2020. This activity
                                                                was undertaken by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural
                                                                Education Department of Higher Education, Ministry of
                                                                Education, Govt. of India. Mrs. Jayshree Jani, Principal,

                                                                Vishvaniketan Shanti Asiatic School, Ahmedabad was the
                                                                speaker for the workshop. She motivated students to become
                                                                helper in covid19 pandemic situation. She emphasized on
                                                                concept of EMPATHY and SYMPATHY. She discussed about
                                                                four different teams working for this concept by helping in
                                                                Hospital management, Non-Hospital management, Emotional
                                                                support and communication with Covid patients. 65% students

                                                                rated this workshop to be encouraging to provide social service
                                                                and being helping hand in need of an hour. Event was
                                                                coordinated by Dr. Priyanka Goswami.

             One Day National Level Webinar Organized at Govindrao Nikam College of Pharmacy, Sawarde.
      Govindrao Nikam College of Pharmacy organized one day national level webinar on “Design Thinking” on 26th June 2021. Mr. Awab
      Faikh, Startup mentor (StartUp India, Maharashtra State Innovation Society) was the resource person. To this innovative and first of its

      kind program more than 300 participants were present from all over Maharashtra and other states of the country. Mr. Awab Faikh
      expressed his views on new buzz word startup and importance of inculcating startup culture amongst the students. Speaker also
      sensitized all participants about all aspects of startup with success stories and examples. Superiors expressed their sense of
      satisfaction on participant’s number. Mrs. Maya Desai delivered her welcome address and introduced guest speaker at the inaugural
      event. Dr. A. P. Battase Principal of the institute appreciated efforts of the faculty for taking vigorous efforts, for expressed his views on

      importance of such program academics.
                 Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy Social Activities Paint the Cause Campaign
                                                                During these difficult times where everyone is stuck to their
                                                                computer screens, the students of Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati
                                                                College of Pharmacy’s Dayitva committee organized the
                                                                “PAINT THE CAUSE” Campaign on 15   th  March, 2021. This
                                                                campaign was organized keeping the “COVID Scenario” in mind
                                                                to pay hearty tributes to not only the Frontline warriors but also
                                                                each one of us who spent this difficult year and have done our bit

                                                                to keep everyone around safe. The paintings were focused to
                                                                encourage everyone to continue fighting the virus, take
                                                                appropriate precautions and be safe. The hard work of the
                                                                students was appreciated by Principal Dr. Munira Momin and the
                                                                Faculty of an institute.
