A Krishi Din on Thursday, 1st July 2021 at Shri. D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy and Research Center, Panvel
IQAC of Shri. D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy and Research Center, Panvel had organized a Krishi Din on Thursday, 1st July 2021 with
great enthusiasm. Almost 78 participants took part in that event. Prin. Dr. Ashish Jain, N.S.S. Programme Officer Mr Mukesh Patil, Mr Hitesh
Kadu, Miss Ashlesha Kohale, Teaching and non-teaching Staff, N.S.S Volunteers and students have participated in the event. The Krishi Din
celebration started at 8.30 am. Hon. Shri. Dhanraj Vispute first addressed to the participants on the occasion of Krishi Din and he said, trees
greatly contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, supporting wildlife, improving air quality, conserving water, preserving soil, and
climate amelioration. By only performing its primary function of photosynthesis, it contributes more than it takes. Hon.Mrs. Sangita Vispute,
Secretary thoughts details of Krishi Din. In this program, 50 N.S.S volunteers, and 28 teaching and non-Teaching Staff of the Shri D D Vispute
COP & RC, New Panvel have participated.
Tree Plantation Day by Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy
The event of Dayitva Tree Plantation Day for the year 2020-2021 was held on 02 nd April, 2021 with the students of Dr. Bhanuben
Nanavati College of Pharmacy and volunteers from ‘NATRA WILD’ in Muncherjee Nowrojee Banerjee (MNB) Blind school.
Jogeshwari.There were around 50 saplings out of which 10 were flowering and the other 40 were herbal plants such as Ajwain, Pathari,
Sweet Neem, Aloe vera, Tulsi. The event proved to be a great success as the participants enjoyed planting activities and that is a true
celebration of Tree plantation Day. The event planned was performed with a great deal of enthusiasm and excitement by the
participants. The encouraging response of the participants along with the constant support of the MNB Blind school topped with the
hard work of the Dayitva committee was the major reason for this event to be a success. Principal Dr.Munira Momin and faculty
members appreciated the unique activity of Dayitva cell in this COVID pandemic.
