Constructivist - Mobile Learning Classroom
Problem-based learning widely known and used in various areas such as nursing, social work, education, business
administration, leadership even for law students (Jonassen & Hung, 2008) to solve a complex form of issues that
reflect the real world of the field they work with. This model effectively turns the students from passive learners
to active learners and problem solvers with the high level of thinking that positively affects students’ attitude
towards solving the problem, thinking creatively, work collaboratively, actively sharing information and good
communication while giving new experience and new perspective of seeing things. Students who taught through
PBL are able to become self-directed learners with the ability to learn and formulate the knowledge according to
their needs where they are able to select and use the best available resources to gain knowledge as they need.
Mobile Technology has been chosen to adapt in this classroom due to its capabilities to engage students in their
learning while fostering the process of learning through technology such as using a web browser to look for
data and information, utilizing google drive to share files would make the whole teaching and learning
environment effective and much easier.
