VIII. Awards
1. The Organizer reserves the right to change the list of athletes' achievements/awards after
completing all complaint review procedures
2. The Organizing Committee has the right to withdraw the completed items, and bonuses
of the athletes if detecting violations or cheating during the competition.
3. All prizes for athletes will transfer ownership to the Organizer if not received within 30
days from the date of the request for information confirmation.
4. Prizes must be received according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee. Prizes
are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
5. Selection system athletes are athletes who are members of the national team, the team
of the province/city/industry or receive support, receive salary (through official contracts,
collaborator contracts) of any professional sports team or club (according to Article 49 of
the Law on Sports and Physical Training 2006) in the Vietnamese territory. Athletes who are
in the selection system or have been retired since February 12, 2020 will be included in the
selection system when calculating the achievement of awarding 1,2,3 in the men's and
women's finals of the Full Marathon.
IX. Behavior
1. The Law on Road Traffic Safety, the rules and directives of the organizing committee, the
local government, and runners must all be strictly followed by athletes.
2. Runners that engage in acts of aggressiveness, unrest, or disorder during the competition
will be disqualified by the organizing committee, and their accomplishments, awards, and
participation in future competitions will also be revoked.
3. Each athlete is in charge of comprehending and abiding by the competition's regulations;
those who do not will be barred from competing.
4. Athletes should behave themselves appropriately both before and during the competi-
tion. No: arguing, insulting, acting in an unsportsmanlike manner toward other participants,
littering, causing environmental damage, or utilizing derogatory imagery of the event's
organizers and competitors after it has concluded. Anyone who disobeys this code of
behavior will be asked to leave the track, will be eliminated from the competition, and will
be prohibited from taking part in future VnExpress Marathon competitions.
5. Athletes are not allowed to bring documents, or leaflets with content opposing the State
and people of Vietnam; the content goes against the policies of the Party and the State; The
content is not suitable with Vietnamese fine customs and traditions.
6. Athletes must wear appropriate competition attire; must not wear clothes that confuse
with the Organizer; not wear offensive clothing/violating Vietnamese fine customs and
traditions; must not wear costumes with images opposing the State and people of Vietnam,
going against the policies of the Party and the State.
