Abrasive Form—Chief Executive Officer

Mike is the CEO of Abrasive Form, a current
Calvert Street portfolio company. Abrasive
Form is one of the world’s largest independent
precision creep-feed grinding manufacturers

and serves the industrial gas turbine, aerospace,
automotive, and general industrial sectors.
Mike has over twenty years of experience in multiple levels of
business/operations as well as five years of leadership in the

military. Prior to Abrasive, Mike was COO of Veritas Steel.
Before joining Veritas, he was responsible for North American
operations, consisting of more than thirty sites throughout
North America, for Bodycote Plc, the world’s largest provider
of thermal processing services. Mike worked at Honeywell
Aerospace and prior to that, had increasing roles of global

operational responsibility at Federal-Mogul. He began his
career as a manufacturing engineer at Ford Motor Company.
Mike attended West Point, became a Captain in the US Army

and served as a helicopter pilot.
