Signode Industrial Group—Group President

Chas Seymour is the Group President for Signode
Industrial Group, a global manufacturer of
industrial packaging products owned by Carlyle
Private Equity. Based in Chicago, Chas is

responsible for creating the strategic direction
and managing the profitable growth of the business across
North and South America.

Chas joined Signode after the successful sale of Veyance
Technologies in 2015 to Continental AG. Chas spent 5 years
with Veyance, a manufacturer of industrial rubber products,
where he was VP/GM of their North American business. From
1994 through 2010, he held various management roles within

Black and Decker, including VP/GM of Baldwin Hardware, VP
Industrial Equipment for DeWalt Industrial Tools, and VP
Marketing for DeWalt in Europe.

Chas earned a BA in Economics and Government from
Bowdoin College and a MBA from the Kenan Flagler Business
School at UNC Chapel Hill.
