Abstract
ThispaperanalysestheuseofInformationandCommunicationTechnology ICT
in education in Sudan, it aims to analyze ICT because it is one of the cornerstones in
providing educational services through technology and cyberspace, within the
framework of egovernment project To analyze ICT in education, a sample of
individualshasselectedfromdifferentstatesof Sudanincludingdifferentcommunity
individuals Thesamplewas categorizedaccordingtoeducationallevels Elementary,
Secondary,University,College,etc ,andtheanalysisbasedonreadinessfactorsofthese
levels regarding the access to the electronic services and potential, which can be
summarized into six broad lines including the number of computers available,
availability of electronic devices, type of computers available, the range of websites
availability Inadditiontotheavailabilityofelectroniccontentsystemsandqualityand
speedofconnectivityinschools TheQuestionnairewasdistributedtothesample The
questionnairecomprisedofquestionsrevolvesaroundeachofthefollowing thedevices
in term of quality and use, websites in term of technology and quality, operating systems,
services provided by the sites, systems, electronic sites, software, specialization, the
numberofcomputerexpertsandtrainingininformationtechnology Finally,thepaper
concluded with some recommendations
