DISC is an acronym for Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness,
originated from a theory proposed by William Moulton Marston (1893-1947), a lawyer
and physiological psychologist with a Ph.D. from Harvard, that the behavioral expression
of emotions could be classified into these four primary types.
Dr. Susan Cain at the Corporate Learning Institute (CLI) scientifically developed
®
and validated DISC Professional Style Profile as an assessment tool that measures
behaviors and professional styles and made it available for you and your organization to
inform and support your decisions in an easy-to-use and affordable way. Let us show you
how!
