Oct ROTARY PERUMBAVOOR CENTRAL
5 A Vibrant Club which gives more importance to the community health care. Started with a lively interaction

with President Binoy Joseph and Secretary Anil. Then proceeded to Okkal where they had 2 projects.
Inaugurated a Rotary Community Corps, a 20 member group (green army) who support more than
300 families in organic vegetables farming and in the following meeting distributed seeds and organic
fertilizers to 300 families. They really are doing a commendable job in promoting organic farming. We
then went to visit their ongoing Global Grant Project – ‘Say No to Oral Cancer’, a mobile dental care
facility. We also inaugurated a terrace farming project at Gokulam apartments near Perumbavoor where
200 grow bag have been planted in the terrace area of the flat. After the project inauguration we had a
very interactive club assembly and a lively public function. Their ongoing projects are a Dental Center at
Abhayabhavan and Oral Cancer Detection Program. Cancer care, Dialysis treatment and covid related
programs are being regularly organized by the club members. They have 4 District officers from their
club.
DD Maj. Gen. Vivekanandan, AG Harikrishnan and GGR Dr. Prasannan are a fabulous support to the
club.

Oct ROTARY PIRAVOM
6 A bright morning with a joyous club was indeed a great start to the day. Their dedication in the service to the
society was visualized in their activities. Their major ongoing projects are providing lunch for the needy at the
Municipal Bus Stand, Piravom and Sponsoring “Sneha Bhavan” a school for mentally challenged children.
Signature project of the club is providing ambulance and school buses. President Rtn. Shaju and Secretary
Rtn. Sibin Mathew along with the active support of the members are taking huge steps towards the welfare
of the Society.
DD Rtn. Maj. Gen. Vivekanandan, AG Rtn. Praveen Kandantharayil and GGR Rtn. Binu George Peter are ably
supporting this club.
