The day started by excellent interaction with President Rtn. Saji.K.Puthumana and Secretary Rtn. Ashok
Kumar of the wonderful club of Mulanthuruthy. This club has many vibrant Rotarians with a sincere
desire to serve the community. Their upcoming community service projects are to place a food shelf
for the hungry at Chottanikkara Junction starting off by providing 30 lunch packets every day, Farming
equipments to the farmers and planting trees to save the environment. Their ongoing projects are Mini
toilet complex at the temple town of Chottanikkara which is under construction and “Walk Way Project”
at the entrance of Rotary Bhavan. To make the water sources more useful the club has taken many
initiatives to clean up the wells, ponds and other water resources.
DD Rtn. Maj. Gen. Vivekanandan, AG Rtn. Praveen Kandantharayil and GGR Rtn. Shajan Jacob are ably
supporting the club.

8 A very old club with good membership strength and doing a lot of service to the society. During the pandemic

situation the club handed over food kits to physically challenged and affected families. The club hosted
the farmers support seminar ‘NIRAPATHAYAM’, and distributed nearly 5000 seedlings to the farmers. The
farmers were also provided with grow bags, manures and pet feeds. The ongoing project at Abhaya Bhavan,
Koovapady has been installed with required amenities and ready to start. The best three ASHA workers have
been recognized and Vocational Awards have been given by the club to deserving individuals. The Club
President Rtn. Reji. P. Varghese and Secretary Rtn. Dr. Issac Mathew are ably leading the club. Six of their
members are District officers.
DD Rtn. Maj. Gen. Vivekanandan, AG Rtn. Agi Abraham and GGR Rtn. Ciju.A.Paulose are excellent motivators
for the club.
