A vibrant club headed by President Rtn. Maitheen and Secretary Rtn. Eldho Alias have ongoing projects
like Tailoring Training Centers, training to tribals of Vattavada on farming machineries which are very
impressive and useful for the community in the Adimaly region. Planning to increase their membership
strength soon. They also have good fund raising proposals for building their own Rotary Bhavan. The
club has proposals for various Medical camps and Education oriented camps for Tribal Settlement
children’s. The club has planned to supply water for the tribal settlement in association with Jalanithi
Project. Special mention of PP Rtn.Rainge who is doing a magnificent job of supporting the club.

DD Rtn. Maj. Gen. Vivekanandan, AG Rtn. Joy.V.M and GGR Rtn. Sabu.T.R are ably supporting the club.

23 President Seetharaman and Secretary Nethaji are doing a fabulous job of serving the society with their varied

projects. They donated 250 kgs of rice to St. Joseph’s old age home, Podanur and Universal Peace Foundation,
Karumathampatty benefitting 350 inmates of the old age home & orphanage. This project is sponsored by
Rtn. P. Vellingiri. They are very serious of saving Our lovely Planet and have many projects. Some of their other
major projects were “Veetil Seyyalam Vivasayam” a Kitchen Garden Project educating people to grow various
fruits and vegetables at home promoted through “Pasumai Vikatan” a Tamil magazine. The total cost of the
project is more than Rs 1 Lakh, out of which, a sum of Rs 20,000/- was donated by their member Rtn. T. Kiran
Kumar. They also had plantation of trees of various fruits at Universal Peace Foundation, Karumathampatti
with Drip Irrigation System. Entire cost of the project @ Rs 40,000/- was sponsored by the Club President
Rtn. Seetharaman and members Rtn. Murali and Rtn. Pon Arul Baraneedaran. A tree plantation of nearly
200 trees inside the city is planned at the cost of Rs 25,000/- sponsored by Rtn. H. E. Haji Iqbal. They have
very active 5 District officers from their club.
DD Kumerasan along with AG Rajasekar and GGR Srinivasan are always there for the Club.
