Operation & Adjustment

- The broom rides on two premium quality solid no flat rubber caster
wheels mounted using heavy duty swivel caster frames. The caster
swivel frames and gauge wheel axles are both serviceable via
grease nipples.
- The gauge wheels allow the broom frame and broom head to be held
in a level position at all times, providing a stable ride and increased
Tri-Drive Spindle broom performance and bristle life.
- The broom head and sweeping pattern are easily adjusted by means
of a 1-1/8" adjustment arm top link that is held in position by two
jam nuts. The broom comes complete with an adjustment wrench.
- The Rotary Angled Broom has a zinc-dipped storage stand that can
be manually positioned up, during use, and down during mounting,
dismounting and storage.
- The broom is hydraulically angled 30 degrees in both directions by
two 2" hydraulic rams. Ram angle speed can be adjusted by means
of a needle valve.

Tri-Drive Spindle - The rams have a 1" diameter shaft and are connected to the pivot
frame with 1" diameter pins and are serviceable.
- Using the pistol grip control, a small percentage of the hydraulic
fluid is momentarily diverted to the two hydraulic angle rams in
order to angle the broom.
- The broom uses a 24" diameter poly bristle with a 6-3/8" ID core.
- The bristles are mounted on a Tri-Drive Spindle. This spindle is
fabricated using 14-gauge steel and is suspended by two 1-1/2" shaft
and balanced using a CNC lathe table to ensure excellent balance.
This dramatically reduces broom vibration and increases overall

- The Tri-Drive Spindle is attached to the broom head frame with two
1-1/2" heavy duty serviceable flange bearings.
- The broom frame and hood are sandblasted clean, and then painted
using a premium black powder coat paint finish.
