Baked Corn




                                                    From Kathy Walter




               1 ½ Tbsp sugar
               1 ½ Tbsp cornstarch
               ½ tsp salt
               1 cup milk
               1 egg, slightly beaten
               1 can cream style corn (2 cups frozen)
               1 Tbsp melted butter


               Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt; gradually stir in milk, keeping it smooth, add eggs and
               beat gently. Stir in corn and melted butter. Bake in 1 ½ qt casserole for about one hour or
               until inserted in center comes out clean.
