Baked Ribs & Sauerkraut

3 lbs. Ribs
1 quart sauerkraut
¾ cups water
1 tsp brown sugar
½ tsp caraway seeds (optional)
Mix kraut, water and brown sugar and spoon over ribs. Bake 1½ hours. Make dumplings
and drop on kraut, cover and bake 20 mins.
Dumplings: 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp salt, 1 egg, 1 cup milk, mix and
drop by spoonfuls.
