Strawberry and Romaine Salad

Dressing:
1 cup oil
¾ cup sugar
½ cup red wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic minced
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
Mix together and chili for an hour.
Salad:
1 lg head of romaine or boston lettuce (washed and dried)
1 pt sliced strawberries
1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
½ cup chopped walnuts
Toss with dressing and serve immediately.
