Christmas reminds
me of family, the
laughter and love
we shared, and the
gifts we gave to
each other. Last
year, I celebrated
Christmas in India,
with my grandparents. On Christmas Eve, at around 8
pm, my family and I went to the church to attend the
Christmas Carol. By the time, the Carol was over, it
was 10 pm. We returned home and went to sleep. The
next morning, we got up and got ready to go to the
church for the Christmas Service. After the service, we
got a slice of plum cake and went back home. (and we
took a photo, in our bright, white clothes..)
The next thing on the list was breakfast. My mom and
grandmother started working in the kitchen. Me and
my sisters gave a long menu (Appam and egg curry,
Grandma’s special fried rice and duck roast with
chicken fry, tapioca and fish curry, and more), which
my mom and grandma had to cook. After breakfast, we
exchanged gifts. We visited our family and relatives,
and wished them a very, happy, Merry Christmas.
