endless. So we avoid it. Or we wing it. Or we polish too hard and end up sounding like robots –
maybe because we’re acting like one.
In the past, you probably only had to say “what you do” at a networking event. Now you’re asked
to introduce yourself in every email, pitch, proposal and digital footprint. Your ‘Hello World’
moment happens on loop – and most of us were never taught how to handle it well.
If you don’t shape your story intentionally, it can cost you the chance to be seen, heard or hired.
This strategy helps you build something better: a clear, human, true-to-you story that
connects what you’ve done, what you care about and where you’re headed next.
WHY IT MATTERS
Your story is how people decide if they can trust you, hire you, work with you or open doors for
you. In a noisy world, it’s your signal. If you don’t tell it, someone else will fill in the blanks – or
worse, no one will notice at all.
Whether you’re chasing a promotion, preparing for a pitch, re-entering after a break or simply
stuck – STORY gives you the language to show up with confidence. To bridge past and future. To
say, with calm conviction: ‘Hello World – this is ME!’
Over time, this practice gives you something even more powerful than polish: presence.
The ability to walk into any room – physical or digital – and show up as yourself with clarity
and confidence.
B. HUMAN PROMPT = QUESTIONS AND REFLECTIONS
CHATTY FOOD + EXTRA FUEL
Let’s make your past another power base. We’re going to shape a Life^Work story that’s honest,
strategic, and grounded in who you’re becoming.
The Questions to feed Chatty: Start with the TASKED 6 building blocks:
TASKED: 6 Story Building Blocks
T – TALENTS = Your superpowers - natural or developed abilities that set you apart. 1) What
superpowers or strengths do you naturally lead with? 2) What strengths show up in life, not just
at work? 3) Which skills or traits feel most you?
A – ATTITUDE = Your mindset and Traits - How you show up, especially under pressure. 1) Are
you a drain or a radiator? Glass half full or empty? 2) Easy to work with, or the one who
challenges? 3) How would your family or colleagues describe your default energy? 4) What
changes when you’re under pressure versus in flow?
S – SKILLS = Your resources - The tools you have mastered, lean on and enjoy using. 1) What
skills have been the backbone of your success? 2) Which skill stacks give you an edge compared
to others? 3) Which skills might soon be replaced or reshaped by AI and which will remain
distinctly human?
