Random acts of kindness and giving
This may not get filled in every day but it is a reminder to start from a place
of generosity and actively look for opportunities to give and be kind. A
Random Act of Kindness (RAK) is a selfless act to give, assist or be kind to
someone else with no expectation of a return. It is simply doing something
nice for someone else especially strangers. It is good for them and good
for your own wellbeing.
Fundamental habits for wellbeing
1. Water Intake – 8 glasses of water a day for healthy hydration or ?
2. Steps – 10,000 steps a day or ?
3. Meditation – 5 to 30 minutes daily or ?
4. Exercise – 150 minutes a week or ?
What the ? means is have targets for water intake, steps, meditation and
exercise and track them in these areas. They are included because of the
research showing their value for health, wellbeing and happiness.
Habit tracker to keep score
As part of your initial planning exercise you identified 8 habits you want to
track. These go in this section daily for you to track.
Your energy is your life force
We all have high and lower energy days. High energy days are the most
productive. However low energy days are sending a message we may need
to recharge and focus more on self care. The purpose of tracking it is to
see the impact it has on you and your day, notice trends and identify ways
to keep yourself more energised.
Your mood impacts each moment
Similar to energy this is about taking responsibility for your outlook and
creating meaningful days. Track the trend and learn from it.
