WORK AT HEIGHT
SPECIALIST TECHNICAL SERVICES
● All tasks must be suitably planned.
● Provide the required training for Work at
Height, use of access equipment etc.
● Avoid work at height wherever possible.
● Change the system to avoid work at height.
● The selection of work equipment must be
justified by Risk Assessment and detailed
in an SPA.
● Consider the work at height hierachy of
controls when selecting work at height
equipment.
● The Risk Assessment should consider if a
safer means of access could be used,
duration and level of the risk.
