Huffnagle Knot

When you need to employ a Bimini Twist as a class tippet (kind of a
middle transitional section, before the business end of the bite or shock
tippet), joining it to a heavy bite or shock tippet (usually for saltwater
fishing), give the Huffnagle Knot a try.

                  1. Make an overhand knot in the heavy leader material, a couple
inches from the end. Draw this knot up to form a figure eight, and
place the loop end of the Bimini Twist through the loop, and then
back around through the other loop, as shown here. Pull the heavy
leader material tight, closing the knot. You joined the two lines, now

you finish the knot. Trim the heavy tag end.
