2 4 Pat looks at his messy room, and thinks about how to clean it. Suddenly, Pat gets a great idea.

Pat: I have an idea. ҢϞࡈ˴จf
First, Pat puts things in order, and groups those things into categories. He puts toys into a
cardboard box. He puts pencils, rulers, and erasers into an empty potato chips can. Finally, he
folds the clothes, and puts them into boxes nicely. The room looks neat and tidy now. Pat has
another idea. It’s annoying for Pat to choose what to wear every morning. He writes the day
of the week on each box, and then he classifies the clothes into six categories according to
different days. Pat doesn’t need to worry about what he should wear anymore. Every morning,
all he needs to do is open the box and take out the clothes from it. It’s simple and easy. Pat’s
mom is surprised after seeing Pat’s tidy room. She thinks it was a brilliant idea to put the
clothes into categories by week. She compliments Pat on his creativity.
