Keynote Speakers
Every year supporters come together to present deserving students with a scholarship
award, and every year the program has been blessed to have a dynamic speaker
address the scholarship recipients. They are as follows:
2020 – Natalie Edward
Ms. Edward is the Global Director, Inclusion & Diversity, for
The Estee Lauder Companies (ELC), which includes over 30
cosmetics, haircare, skincare, and fragrance brands including
Clinique, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, and Tom Ford
Beauty. In this role, she leads inclusion strategy & operations
for all 150 countries where the company’s products are sold.
Natalie joined ELC in May 2018 upon graduation from the Wharton School at the
University of Pennsylvania, where she received her MBA. While at Wharton,
Natalie was most known for her impact on diversity. Natalie’s leadership in making
Wharton a more inclusive business school landed her a spot on Poets & Quants’
“Best & Brightest MBAs 2018” list, which profiles the top 100 graduating MBAs
globally. Natalie was one of three Wharton students on the list, out of her
graduating class of 850.
Prior to attending Wharton, Natalie launched her career in HR strategy at Deloitte
Consulting where she implemented HR technology and Diversity and Inclusion
strategies for the United States Government.
In addition to her Wharton MBA, Natalie holds a bachelor’s in finance from Howard
University, where she graduated as Female Graduate of the Year. She resides in
the New Jersey area with her husband.
2019 – Joscelyn Darby
Joscelyn Darby is a lively communicator with many years of
experience in women's ministry. She is a native of Mississippi
and graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where
she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She later
completed her master’s degree at Houston Baptist University.
She has an insatiable thirst for God's word and loves to share
and encourage others to read and study. She enjoys teaching
Bible Study and Speaking at Retreats and has been afforded
the opportunity to teach and speak abroad.
Joscelyn Darby believes in communicating the Word of God in an authentic way,
using real life examples to inspire others to Godly living. She is married to James
