Aleena Ajmal MECHANICAL ENGINEER
As a Mechanical Engineer at DEDC, Aleena’s role includes:
• Performing Engineering Calculations and System Analysis
• Aiding the Design Team in developing Engineering Solutions
• Participating in Project Scope Definition Meetings
• Executing Field Surveys to assess and document existing conditions
• Preparing Design Documents utilizing 3D Revit Software
• Providing Construction Support including Review of shop drawings and
equipment submittals
Aleena is an integral member of the project team. She works closely with a Sr.
Engineer to complete engineering and design tasks. For most projects, Aleena’s
responsibilities include field surveys, engineering calculations, preparing drawings
and specifications, and providing support during construction.
Aleena has experience in the engineering and design of mechanical and plumbing
systems for manufacturing, research and development, educational and
commercial facilities. Aleena’s specific engineering and design experience includes
system selection, equipment selection and designing HVAC and mechanical
systems. Aleena also completes plumbing engineering and design.
Finally, Aleena has extensive experience with software programs including Trane
Trace, the latest Revit software and Microsoft Office. She is also familiar with
local and national mechanical (HVAC and plumbing) and building codes.
EDUCATION Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering - Gonzaga University
TIME ALLOCATED It is anticipated that Aleena will allocate 60% of his time to project Pegisis.
