Wilmington PharmaTech Company (WPT) is a global service company specializing
in chemical process and medicinal chemistry for the pharmaceutical and
biotechnology industries.

WPT has developed a wide range of capabilities for the research and development
of today’s medicines, including custom synthesis, process chemistry, medicinal
chemistry, API manufacturing, FTE research, polymorph screening and salt
selection, and analytical services. WPT specializes in cGMP Synthesis, FTE
Contract Research, Polymorph Screening and Salt Selection, Analytical GLP and
GMP Services, Genotoxic Impurity Trace Analysis, Stable Isotope Labeling, Drug
Reference Standards, Biotransformation, Chiral Resolution and Asymmetric
Catalysis.

WPT is renovating a recently purchased 42,000 square foot facility to become a
new GMP Plant and Analytical Center. The renovation was completed in multiple
phases. Space modifications included the construction of small batch
manufacturing facility, quality control labs, air locks, gowning rooms and support
spaces. DEDC was the lead design professional for this project. We managed all
architectural and engineering services and provided all mechanical, structural and
electrical engineering and design for the project. DEDC also managed the bidding
and award process and provided assistance and guidance during construction and
system start up.

Construction of Phase 1 and Phase 2 is complete.
