University of Delaware Campus - Tower at STAR
Newark, Delaware
Structural design and construction administration services provided for a
new $40M, 120,000 SF, 10-story tower for University of Delaware’s Science,
Technology and Advanced Research Campus. The tower houses state-of-the-
art classrooms, laboratory and research facilities for the University of Delaware,
three floors of office space allocated to high-tech commercial tenants, as well as
a restaurant and an auditorium on the first floor.

Unilife Medical Solutions Ltd - Headquarters
York, Pennsylvania UD Campus - STAR Tower

The custom-designed $31M facility serves as the company’s new corporate
headquarters. Structural design and construction administration services
were provided for the new 148,000 GSF, facility consisting of (2) buildings
including a 36,000 GSF office building and a 112,000 GSF, medical device
manufacturing building. Included in this facility is a GMP warehouse for
in-process and final product storage, as well as Quality control and Biology
laboratories. The warehouse also consists of machine shops for the repair
and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, as well as general facility
maintenance. The office facility consists of a two-story, office area with rooftop
mechanical equipment and an entrance exterior canopy.

Structural design for the installation of a new stereo tactic EP lab and a bi-plane
intervention lab on the existing second floor of the Emergency Department.

Croda International- New Office Building
New Castle, Delaware
Structural design for a new four-story, 72,000 SF, $170 million, chemical plant
featuring a new precast pedestrian bridge located at the Atlas Point facility.

Symmetric Painting – Office & Manufacturing Facility
Hamstead, Maryland
Symmetric Painting is an industrial painting contractor providing services to
local, state and federal agencies. Structural design services provided for two
new buildings consisting of the following:
• Foundation and miscellaneous design for a new Bloom Energy - Manufacturing Facility
• 20,000 SF, pre-engineered metal manufacturing building.
• Design for a new 9,600 SF, conventionally framed office building with
wood roof trusses and wood stud bearing walls.
Bloom Energy - New Manufacturing Facility
Newark, Delaware
Located at the STAR Campus of University of Delaware, structural design
services were provided for a new 240,000 SF, fuel cell manufacturing facility
featuring offices, a visitor’s center/ exhibition area and an entrance canopy.
