East Whiteland Township Police Station

Location: Frazer, Pennsylvania

Design Statement: Bernardon is currently providing
design services for a new police station and indoor
firing range totaling approximately 29,000 square
feet. The first floor measures 13,275 square feet of
gross floor area, and the ground level that includes tuck
under parking represents 15,725 square feet, of which
4,750 square feet of the ground floor area is enclosed.

The growth of the township and the corresponding need
to address public safety challenged the existing conditions
of the shared Police department and Administration.
Bernardon was tasked with identifying a sensible solution
for the growth of the Police department and Township
Administration that reinforced the vision and connections
common to a “campus.” New buildings constructed to
meet the needs of the Public Works Department and
Fire Station (both designed by Bernardon) provided the
visual cues to continue a cohesive language of buildings
that reinforced the ethos of East Whiteland Township.
