2023 Information to know about BCBS medical cards and a new Mail Pharmacy

Medical ID Cards -
All those in the BCBS medical plans will receive new ID cards for 2023. Due to a phone number on the back of
the identification cards changing, we will be issuing new id cards to all members. The only change is the
“pharmacist help” number, everything else will remain the same.

New Home Delivery Service for Mail order medications -

MedsYourWay Home Delivery with Amazon Pharmacy will be implemented beginning January 1, 2023, Blue
Cross will utilize MedsYourWay Home Delivery as our exclusive home delivery vendor.

MedsYourWay offers:
• A breakthrough consumer shopping experience with simplified sign-up, onboarding and a personalized phar-
macy experience designed to work with their benefits.
• Built-in MedsYourWay discount card finds the lowest price during checkout. MedsYourWay purchases accrue
toward a member’s out-of-pocket maximums.
• Order and manage prescriptions through the easy-to-use Amazon environment with BCBSMN branding:
• 90-day prescription option
• Customer promise delivery guarantee with status updates for fills, refills, and shipping

We realize that for current ESI Mail utilizers, this will result in a change. The good news is that we will handle
the member communication and few members will need to do any work to make this change. Plan members

currently utilizing ESI will receive a letter notifying them they need to switch to Amazon Pharmacy if they would
like to continue with home delivery. The first letter will arrive by November 1, 2022, with a reminder letter by
December 15, 2022. Prescriptions with refills available will be automatically transferred to Amazon Pharmacy on
January 1, 2023.
