Culture of Safety Excellence

When thinking about Loram’s Culture of Safety Excellence, the first thing that comes to mind is Be-
cause… I CARE About Your Safety. What do Loram’s values have to do with Safety Excellence? The
values are at the core of the safety culture at Loram. Every single value is tied to Loram’s safety cul-
ture. What are those values?
Because… I CARE About Your Safety:
Integrity – Upholding expectations at all times, honorable and trustworthy, always able to stand
proud.
Customer Focus – Attentive, devoted, committed to solving any problems by finding and provid-
ing solutions.
Accountable for Actions – Dignified, respectful, and responsible. Diligent in successfully complet-
ing projects.
Results Oriented – Successful, determined and driven. Always striving to achieve the next goal.
Excellence in All We Do – Innovative, helpful to others, detail-oriented, and always thinking to-
wards the future
Safety Excellence is the responsibility of every single Loram employee. We may not actively think
about each value every day, but our actions daily reflect those values. To improve our Safety Ex-
cellence, we must remind each other of the values this company is built upon. Actively having
conversations about our values and how they associate with our Culture of Safety Excellence is
vital. I challenge each employee during a job briefing to talk about a value and how it is associat-
ed with Safety Excellence. The conversation is key to our future success here at Loram.
