Sir,

I have tho honour to forward for your
information the Budget for tho 3tate of Bahrain
for tho year 1355 and a report on the revenue
and expenditure during 1354. Thie is the
eleventh Budget whioh I have had the honour to
pro sent. The annual report on the adminis­
tration of Bahrain which normally aooompanies
the Budget is not yet oomplete. It will he

forwarded at a later date. The Administration
Report is written almost entirely by myself and
owing to pressure of work I have not been able
to finish it.
2. The Budget. The expenditure shown
in the Budget represents the reourrent expendi­
ture neoessary for the normal protection,
