roulisatJon of tho people* o demands. Wo now notice that the country
io in state which dooa not ploaoe any one who bearo a spark of
nationalism und loyalty. We do not doubt that tho situation might
load to an unploaoant conooquence which shall bring to us and our
beloved country calamity and grief. Wo, thoreforo, request Your
Highness to consider the matter keenly sut and deal withLby wisdom.
In view of the verbal discussion between Your Highness and. tho
people's representatives ubout tho reforms which are required to be
carried out in the neurost possible opportunity which consist of
councils for Education, Health,and Municipalities to bo freely
elected by tho people and to introduce general reforflmo in the
security and Courts including civil and criminal codes harmonious
with our rcliglon^and tradition and customs. Wo agree with Your
Highness to, us desired by you, sul>end the discussion about the
Legislative Council until another opportunity when both Your Highness
and the representative of tho pooplo find it convenient.
Wo still expect to seo the labour Lav/ of matuul benefit for
the employees and the employers .
As it was assured you by our representatives we ascertain that
our intention io a general reforms and bringing ubout anything of
bonofit, welfare und peace to this country.
