In anov/er to the rcopected note of March 30th
1900 respecting a certain Bahreini at Lingah, I have the

honour to otate that by referring to previouo no tea of the

Foreign Ministry regarding the island of Bahrein and its

inhabitants, you will be quite enlightened as to the argu­

ments of the Persian Government, but as every endeavour lias

always been made for the administration of justice and the

inquiry into the claims of persons 7/ho are wronged, at that

same time strong telegraphic instructions were issued and

it is evident that the Persian Government officials will

not fail in the necessary endeavours for the administration

of justice.
