assured on this point, and he clearly realises that we
may be expected to resent any injustice done to such
persons as are undoubtedly Bahrain subjects, He cer-

tainly rent out of his ray to be friendly to me and we
i panted on the best of terms. ± personally have little
doubt that much of the trouble has been deliberately
fpmented by the vusaibisbas n part of their policy o.f
\ excluding Bahrain merchants from the Qatif trade, and
X shall watch their future move ents with attention.
