In May, Messrs. F. C. Strick & Co., obtained a concession from thd Per-
sian Government by which they obtained

five years for red oxide from the Hormuz mines. They have stipulated to
take 6,000 tons per annum.

on board visited the port from 8th to 11th

Many of His Majesty’s ships were in Bandar Abbas waters throughout the
year in connection with the illicit traffic in arms.
