The only route to the interior from Lingah to Lar, by way of Bastak, has
been utterly impossible for caravan
Condition of Roads.
traffic, and trade with Lar, which was
formerly considerable, has remained at a standstill throughout the year.
The route is mountainous and difficult, and no one is apparently responsible
for its safety.
There is a shorter and better route to Bastak from Charak, but it is not
used to any extent for trade.
