Story 68

          Farming

If you have a strong arm,
A gun to protect yourself from harm
And if work causes you no alarm
Then life on a farm is but a charm.

Story 69

                          A True Yarn

The Scots call a mountain lake a tarn. They call a stone landmark a cairn.
Although peculiar, the Scots call both an animal house and a youngster a barn. Be
that as it may, the sheep in their barn provide the best darn yarn that any tailor
should ever hope to darn.

Story 70

                          The Jew's Harp

Although Jose´ enjoyed playing his Jew's harp,
he downright hated the upright harp.

Consequently his mother would harp (he called it carp):
"Play your harp, play your harp . . . !"

But Jose´ preferred to fish for carp.
So he did so while thumbing tunes in A-sharp
          upon his oral harp.

                                                                   Jew’s Harp
