Focused on Economic and Community Development, including assistance in further education and
guidance in self-employment, our main objective was to contribute to achieving Sustainable
Development Goals; SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth. We
believe that we could deliver young people with the required knowledge and exposure to their plans
and contribute to making a positive change in their lives and communities. Being the cream of Sri
Lankan education, our undergraduates' skills and abilities are unquestionable. What is required is to
provide them with a bit of boost to sort out and engage. Moreover, we aimed to change the form of
personality with education maturity while training them to make comprehensive, timely decisions
through exposure to the corporate culture and ultimately boost creative abilities regarding the given
context.
The sessions were accessible by all students without boundaries, and every participant was given a
certificate. Joining hands with SLIM helped us shape our program to meet the latest trends in the job
market and also obtained some scholarships. We want to mould a balanced graduate who is
academically sound and personally groomed with skills and habits to meet everyday challenges.
It's never too early to encourage long-term savings. Let us wait patiently and one day, we will feel
content seeing them conquer.
