Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) supervises the survey and enforcement process. The actual survey process is

list was not shared with the general public. s now, available in the public domain and has generated a lot of questions

and concerns legislators, family members and the press. has always been our protocol increase our visible

presence n any facility that has compliance issues – especially those on the special focus facility listing. s important to

note that the list will change, and updates are provided by CMS to our state office and that list is then shared with the

local network. Facilities can removed from the list correcting deficient practices and maintaining compliance over
