READING FESTIVAL
During the Reading Week, held from 8-14 September, 2020, the primary students augmented their
love for books through fun- filled activities. Young bibliophiles of class II read stories from their
favourite books while the students of class III dramatized their favourite story character. The
playwrights of class IV weaved a story using interesting ideas and class V raconteurs represented
their favourite story through a comic strip/story map. Students are constantly learning to hone
their language skills through an array of activities organized time to time such as Spelling Bee,
Story Narration, Speaking activities and a lot more. These activities enrich their English
vocabulary, improve spellings, pronunciation and develop awareness about correct use of the
language.
ROAD SAFETY
An interactive workshop was conducted by the Delhi Traffic Police for the students of classes I to
V to create road safety awareness amongst our young learners and making them responsible
citizens of tomorrow. The students were also given basic knowledge of road safety measures and
important road signals. At the end of the workshop, an informative question answer session was
held to satiate their curiosity where students clarified their doubts about various issues.
