Chapter 2

In the morning, there was a wonderful breakfast in

the hotel dining room. The two families were scheduled

to fly home later in the afternoon, with a change of

planes in Vancouver. Gramma and Grandpa were off to

Toronto. At breakfast, the Stars had a proposal for the

Kelowna family.

"Here is something to think about," said Polly. "We

have accepted jobs at UBC Okanagan. and we were

wondering if it would be a good idea to send Twinkle to

the same school as Mirabel. We have a house rented for

now and we will move there soon."
Mirabel would have jumped right out of her seat, but

her mouth was full of toast. Her eyes got big with
surprise. Twinkle sat very still, and there was nothing

showing, except for a little smile. Sarah and Ashley were

really surprised and pleased at the same time.

Mirabel said, "Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times yes! I

have so many friends at my school, and you would be so

welcome and we would have so much fun."
