provision and the invoice, it was limited to a few percent.

The budget – the ‘real’
At the start-of-year meeting, a prize was awarded to the
manager who had achieved the best result. Sometimes, the
same manager would also receive the "lemon prize",
awarded to the manager who had deviated most from his or
her budget forecast. What large groups don't like - especially
if they're quoted on the stock market - are surprises, whether
positive or negative. This is a key point when drawing up
budgets for the following year: they must be realistic.
